This standard describes a method of determination of the temperature below which solid hydrocarbon crystals may form in turbine and reciprocating engine fuels under cooling conditions which may occur during flight or on airfield.

The NPC 452 allows automatic determination of the freezing point of aviation fuels and antifreeze products. This double-unit analyser is equiped with an integrated cooling unit (+30 to - 70 �C). Monitoring is achieved by Windows (c) friendly software.
